Location: in the old town. Perfect for visiting Lisbon and go out to eat. While not too opulent. Room: Our room had a separate sitting area with coffee maker, great. Bathroom is with bath and shower screen, works OK. Beds were excellent. TV perfect as room TV. Large safe. Breakfast: Nice buffet breakfast with show cooking. Quality products. Except for the little "Zwan" sausages :-), but that is a question of taste. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Makes really good suggestions. Luggage storage: nice safe storage room for your luggage when checked out before departure. Transfer: Hotel arranges professional class airport transfer. Building: showing its age. Well refitted to modern standards inside.

Hotel Florescente lived up to all the wonderful excellent reviews I read. The location is perfect and walkable to everything n to all our meeting g spots for tours. The staff every single member from house keeping front desk to the waiter staff were fantastic and so accommodating and welcoming. Each person was positive n professional and went out of their ways to help us or answer any questions. The room was so very spacious- loved the room-huge bathroom great hot water n water pressure very quiet extremely clean great views from our windows very quiet!!! The morning daily breakfast was scrumptious and great coffee with delicious kerig coffee in rooms. I would definitely stay here again and again and wish all the other hotels I have traveled to worldwide were more like this one. I highly recommend this hotel if u ever visit Lisbon Portugal! Superb!

Fantastic location right in the heart of everything. Barrio Alto only a short walk away for nightlife. Fabulous hotel, lovely big room, cleaned every day, excellent food and drink service. Also a great little tapas place next door. The shower was unreal and the pool area was lovely. It's a really small cold pool but the area is a great little suntrap. Lovely to sit out and just relax for a while. Definitely recommend this hotel. And the castle st George is just a walk away, its amazing with a rooftop cafe. To be honest our sintra castle day was a disaster. Tourist traffic jam nightmare. Not worth the hassle at all

The hotel was easy to find, centrally located with easy access to the metro. Upon arrival, the staff were warm, friendly and fluent in English to support our struggling Portuguese. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was clean, serviced daily and the air conditioning worked well whilst being quiet. Bathrooms are modern, well furnished and in good working order. As with many hotel rooms, power to the room is supplied by placing your key card in a wallslot. Please be advised, when the key is removed for you to go out, there is no grace period with the lights so if you're going out after sundown, perhaps open the door before removing your key card as you will be plunged into immediate darkness. The included breakfast was a tasty, albeit simple, spread taken buffet style and a good way to ease yourself into the day. Although they do recommend booking a timeslot for breakfast as the dining room isn't particularly large. This is good advice and you should follow it. Really and truly however, the shining jewels of the establishment are the staff. Endlessly helpful, wonderfully polite and patient from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I cannot praise them highly enough. Both my girlfriend and I very much look forward to our next stay with Hotel Florescente.

Easy to find and close to everything you might need. Close to the metro/tram and bus stops so you can get basically anywhere in Lisbon without a car (even the beach). The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge. Cleaned daily. We had doors that opened onto the street below which was nice for people watching. The staff were incredibly helpful even when we left something in the room after check-out. The pool area, although small, had a lovely vibe and bar. It was great to have a dip after a long day of exploring.

The room was very nice, with windows facing over the street in front of the hotel, we could also see the castle from there. The reception staff was friendly and always available if we needed information. The location is perfect. Right behind Praça dos Restauradores where there is a metro station that can get you close to the Tejo(Cais do Sodré). We used it to get to Alfama too(Santa Apolonia). The breakfast is also good even though, when too crowded, you might have to wait in line for a table to be available. All in all we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and we will stay there again. If I may make a suggestion, I would provide a shower cap and more soap( we were provided with a small bottle barely enough for 2 people).

I stayed in room 601. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean. It was very quiet. All the staff I interacted with were great. It was a perfect location for us because our tours and Ubers picked us up from the Hard Rock Hotel, which is right around the corner. The breakfasts were pretty good. There's a good rotisserie chicken restaurant 2 doors down if you like that. I didn't use the pool as I had planned because all the shady places were taken by other guests. The hotel was much nicer than I expected.

The property was immaculate. The rooms were beautifully designed. It felt very luxurious. Also, it was in a great neighborhood easy access to a lot of sightseeing on transportation if you needed it. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Margarida and the woman at the front desk were exceptional.
